Monett Missouri | Mine is swathed laying in the field waiting for the rain to stop so we can combine. A little was picked up Saturday afternoon around here. I heard 14-18% moisture. Some of mine washed away Sunday with a torrential rain. I’m hearing I’m not the only one this happened to. Gonna be a tough year to get this wet straw through a red rotor combine. And the grass is growing up through the lighter windrows.
Edit: hard to complain about rain but we could use a break like others. Oh ya. RMA doesn’t cover fescue :(
