That sounds like our 4240. Keeping the condenser clean and the rpm over 1500 is about all it takes.

I'd love to see an actual temperature, temp gauge. Your description sounds exactly like what our 40 series would do. It would ride the edge of the black and green border. A good hard load against it would get it a little up into the green. Why deere wouldn't give us a gauge with degree numbers escapes me. You can't help but feel like an idiot, describing the location of a gauge needle on a gauge that should be marked in numbers.
