| I have to travel quite a bit for my off farm job and last week I happened to get down into Iowa about 60 miles south of Blue Earth. I talked to a couple locals in a McDonalds before I headed back home and they said that there were a few offers of $425+ an acre cash rent for 2020 due to the price increase on corn. Were they just messing with me or is there some truth to that? I know there are still a few farms being rented in the mid 300's around me but for the most part rent was starting to come down. I'm just wondering where it's headed now. | |
