Southern Mn | I really wonder if a whole bunch of acres wouldn't have got planted had it not been for the " Trump Money" of course I know the answer is yes. As a farmer is just feels good to finally get the ground worked and then planted. The feeling wasnt as good this year looking back at all the places you knew were going to be crap, so now we spray, wait, hope against the calendar, wait for heat which never seems longer than a couple days, you know, and I know this crop is on thin ice, I saw lots of corn on the roads yesterday, 4 dollars is a number that opens grain bins, I maybe should have done the same, but my gut tells me this thing is far from over | |
