Subject: RE: Tree help

Franklinton, LA
At first I thought maybe you were planting the trees a lot deeper than they were in the nursery. In this area they say the trees should never be planted over 1/2" deeper than they were in the nursery. However, planting too deep will not kill a tree in a few weeks.

Rain and water will not bother a real cypress tree. I planted about 500 cypress trees in January 2015 and most of them are now 12 - 15' tall.

The soil was very moist so I kept it simple and used a dibble to open a slot.
