South Central MN | Bug Soother does work, but if you sweat a bunch it weakens and you have to reapply. Also won't keep every one away but cuts down on the annoyance a lot. They were the worst I've ever seen them up here this spring, normally we don't have quite as many but they are around all summer, just more numerous in the spring. Must have had perfect conditions this spring because you couldn't even walk in some areas without them flying into everything.
The bug zapper has been frying bugs all day and night for about three weeks now, will kill gnats but far better for mosquitoes. Bet it has cooked a few pounds of gnats this year so far. | |
