It appears that he is using the master switch to indicate planting. If there was an implement switch attached an icon would appear above the the yellow seed corn bar in the upper right corner of the screen. It should work ok this way.
Do you have a 75529 (planter mounted module) or 59783 (cab mounted module) CAN terminator connected to the end of your Field IQ harness?
