North Central Illinois | Pretty sure there is going to be plenty of organic rye on the market, this already lodged bad a month ago, and 20% of the field was dead from being in standing water. The odds of poor germ are pretty high.
Additionally, I have a pretty good contract price on beans and the seed was already in my possession and not returnable. Really 50% of the first planted ok. 25% wasn't to bad and the last 25% was what was pretty wet.
