Iowa | John Deere seems more interested in engineering products that are not a new concept and are not being asked for by the market. For example, their "revolutionary" blinky-light lightbar. As to why they do not dedicate some resources to simple things but yet needed things, such as the GS2 Rate Controller being able to support PWM-controlled solutions pumps on sprayers, is beyond me.
Regarding your point of someone figuring out how to use GreenStar equipment on the industry-standard RTK correction formats provided by CORS networks; Leica has already accomplished this.
