north-central Indiana west of Fulton | Last week was a great week for making hay....but we were finishing up a difficult planting season. Now trying to get a silo filled is a challenge as rain is in the forecast so often it’s hard to even chop hay. After the big rain Sunday, we cut a field Tuesday and were able to chop it yesterday. It rain last night and today, but only about a 1/4. Sun came out during tonight’s milking, so I went and cut an over due wheat field that will be fed to heifers. Plan to chop tomorrow....the only day without rain in the weather report for a while.
