ESW ND | I will trump your Pete for my '76 W900A. It's a glider kit as well. 11K front axle, but the odd part was, is that it had a 13 leaf front springs . I'm not sure what "normal" rear springs are, but these I think are stiffer than normal. One would assume heavy haul...but on a light axle? Now just imagine how smooth of a ride it was. I switched it out with a 4 leaf pack. I died and went to heaven that day. Still rough as can be with a short trailer or bobtailing. Lady at motor vehicle thought something was wrong because the VIN is so short on it. She didn't think that it was right. Well, it was. Usually with a glider, I always thought you "put what you want in it". Who ever had it and put those leaf packs, short wheel base, small cam cummins and air assist steering....must have really hated life or the driver that was going to drive it.
