There was no written prediction of corn going to $10.
The author thinks corn PP acres may be as much as 10M.
The author also thinks lots of guys are ‘betting on the come’ and planting (or planted) late corn when economics would dictate otherwise (PP pmt).
The author thinks there is a risk that late-planted corn may not yield as well as guys hope (btw IL Extension thinks 75-80% of APH according to their calculators). So that has a possibility of not ending well.
Guy is well written and makes reasonable observations like we have been discussing here for the last month. | |
