Warburg, AB | Central AB/ 1 hour SW of Edmonton, really spotty here. Over 2" my way in last week, go 20 miles east, half that. We could use more but could use a couple days to seed some more oats for green feed and hay. Hay will be moving far this year. Already have guys putting feelers out. I always try and work with a few people on feed, but I need a shed to make that work - buy hay on the $40/bale year, shed and sell it on the $80/bale years. This year I'm going to throw it online. Feel kind of bad but I've had a few tight years, there comes a point I need to make sure my future is financially viable. Definitely could use more rain here. | |
