Southern Indiana | Are you sure it got colostrum in time? If you think it's not getting enough nutrition give it a bottle and if it perks up there is your answer. I've had several late born calves that didn't take off real quick like their earlier born mates. Gave a couple a shot (baytril) and seemed to help. If you don't have milk replacer on hand use whole milk and mix a raw egg in with it. Good luck! | |
