I did custom app for 20 years, when switching crops , my SOP was,
empty tank,
20 gal of rinse water - Spray out
Clean filters
20 gal of rinse water - Spray out
20 gal of rinse water - Spray out
mix new crop load
Spray 15 gal on field road or weeds
Spray
Never let a mixed load sit in the boom lines over night
When using a higher UAN mix/carrier, do the same 15 gal at the edge of field, anytime the sprayer sat for an hour or more | |
