Wow! That’s awesome! The next one I build I’m going to take a little extra time to wrap the sucker rod around the corners at the end of a run. I’ve had them come lose out of the clamp and my weld before, probably just my welding.


May not be your welding.
If the rod and the pipe come out of sour wells even using 7018 rod you're more likely to get breakage. With long runs of rod your expansion and contraction between your hot and cold temperatures is going to cause cracks to want to happen.
I think your idea of wrapping the sucker rod around the corners might be a pretty good one. Try one set and then you can tell us how it lasts (grin!),
