McCanna, ND
Ive never had a 8 twist 22 caliber rifle shoot 50-55 grain bullets great. My 223s shoot almost exclusively that weight bullet so I stick to 9/10/12 twists. I’ve tried MANY different bullets/powder/primer combinations on several rifles. With 9 twists the worst rifles shoot 3/4” at 100 yards otherwise they get fixed until they shoot.

A 223/5.56 will interchange ammo no problem. It gets overhyped. 223 Wylde is the chamber I prefer in a AR.

If going for small groups start with 68+ grain bullets
