South Central MN | Up here probably a lot better than it would if it were seeded in September, but then again hairy vetch isn't a reliable overwintering cover here unless it was grown in the state. I have a small patch that isn't hurting anything that keeps reseeding itself, hard to say when it comes up but a few plants are blooming now. I should save a few seeds from it when they get ripe, those plants survived a -30F day this winter, should be better acclimated after a few years of natural selection. | |
