Thanks for your suggestions.
I spent quite some time on this thing during the night but
Never did get it back to normal
I know when it happened as it went bonkers with those open windows
Flashing thru - so I know I pushed some thing on the
Edge of the screen.
I have to log into every time.
I do have Chrome downloaded here so I try it and
It works fine including marking read messages in red.
If you have any other ideas I'd like to hear them
