Does rolling hilly ground increase soil erosion with a heavy rain?

Yes it can, so waiting to roll when beans have emerged can reduce the chances. The beans will help stop some erosion.

Like mentioned, it sure makes harvesting them more enjoyable when the bean head doesn't push dirt after sundown.
Usually will roll after planter, if roller is available.

If I hadn't rolled them come harvest, I say to myself " should have rolled them" as I'm cleaning a pile of dirt off the cutter bar and from under auger......
