I have heard of planting in early May with about 50% emergence. Then a bad hailstorm came in mid June and wiped out what was there. The adjuster comes out about a week later and lo and behold there is a 50 % stand of beans that came out after the rain. Not a good outcome for the farmer.
How long will beans lay in dry dirt?
