That is percentage of yield. In a near normal environment that chart applies.
I would bet more on corn planted now under good conditions than the crap we look at planted in April that has already been through extremely adverse conditions.
Some of my best corn few years ago was replanted June 1. Back in 95 we didn't start planning corn until June 6-10 (can't remember exactly but early June) and that corn made around 100 (good corn for our area at the time). One year in the 2000's planted corn behind wheat (late June/early July) on 30 acres just to see and it made 130ish.
Weather has the final say. I'll gamble with corn here until the 20th. |
