So do you use a lead rope to the halter as well as the rope coming from his girth to the post another words tied with 2 ropes or just the one? What kind of rope around his girth? Is it meant to tighten as he pulls back? Sorry so many questions but I’d like to keep all these recommendations as this won’t be the last horse I own and not all are the same. Should ad we grew up with horses and they never did this they were all most nuisance always wanting to rub on you when racking or untacking.
