We've had a 936 for several years. Rubber rolls. Do prairie hay, alfalfa, oats hay, end of corn field, millet, sudan, turkeys...I definitely love the thing. I can't compare it with anything besides our old NH 495. Major upgrade to say the least. Not the biggest machine, but it works well and at the time we were looking, we tried to fit it with the tractor we had. We since upgraded tractors to a TW35. Plenty of ponies for the machine. I really don't mind the side pull too much. That's what our old machine was. You can definitely get some hay cut in a days time. Yes you have more windrows with a narrower machine, but you also have less material to dry in that windrow. Does it dry faster? I tell myself that it does. If a machine can impress my Dad, then it must be pretty good.
