When I was in 2-3 yrs old category, my grandfather would put me on the back of one of his favorite planting horses------ Dewey or Sparky...….I think they were Percherons or Belgins. He said I lasted about 1-2 rounds, and then would fall asleep. He would tie a piece of bright green cloth to me, and put me under a tree, to sleep most of the day...…..and pick me up when done. I remember their backs------looked like aircraft carriers. |
