We have a walk in bathtub.  It was in a condo we recently purchased, and the modern ones are very nice. They fill fast with large size
faucets, and it also empties fast, so you can open the door and get out, you don't get cold in the meantime. 
Ours is a whirlpool tub, and is very refreshing.

I recommend one, we also have a whirlpool bathtub, they are nice also, but a little harder to use.
