Subject: Calcium Nitrate as a carrier

Waterloo, IL
I have roughly 1700 gallons of calcium nitrate that I didn't get to put on yet. Could I use the calcium nitrate as a carrier when I spray my pre on corn? I am putting down atrazine and simazine. I could also just come back and stream on the calcium nitrate but I would rather not make more tracks/compaction than I am already doing. Thanks.

update: Ended up doing a jar test and decided not to use it as a carrier. Although the solids didn't settle, they didn't quite dissolve all the way either. We did a jar test with water and the solids dissolved, but after leaving the jar with water set, the solids settled on the bottom.
