West Central Iowa | I tried this a couple years ago, but it was terrible, it stayed the type of plant it is before winter a really fine leafed grass that got about 8 inches tall and was mostly water, and it grew very slowly. Then later it got rust and pretty much turned orange and died. So I let the cows on it at that point. I wouldn’t try it.
