Chebanse, IL..... | I was able to take a disk out to our driest farm late yesterday afternoon to work down some chickweed (bad in some places this year). Thought maybe if sun continued to shine the field would dry enough for planting Monday. It's a timber soil & suicidal to plant it wet. That was last night @ 8pm. Weather was good.
Heard thunder during the night. CoCoRahs gauge @ my house is 0.24" and CoCoRahs map shows .46" 1 mile from the farm I was disking.
Again, that was our driest which would've maybe gone Monday. So much for that. |
