| Theres a couple ethanol plants you could prolly buy and show them how wrong they are. Not trying to be a smartass, but all plants have risk management teams, (they meet weekly) and these guys know what they are doing. Pretty sure they can’t all be wrong. Edit too add; Unlike somebody like Kellogg’s who can adjust the price of corn flakes and pass it along, Eplants don’t get to set the price they recieve for the ethanol, they do somewhat on the ddg’s, but they are a byproduct.They will maintain profitability by managing what they are willing to pay for their highest priced input, the corn. Basis is the tool they utilize to accomplish how busy they want to be.
