Subject: RE: Starting to look like 1993 for weather

This is the fourth straight wet spring for me in Bon Homme county SE SD, 16 was bad but soils had room to store some water, crops put in right yielded well mudded in not so much. 2017 was better but we were hailed out late June. 2018 was a bad spring, learned my lesson in 16 patience paid off, late planted crops still yielded well, harvest was a mess, finished corn Feb 3rd. 2019 soil profile is full, a quarter inch of rain water flows like we had an inch and a half, haven't turned a wheel yet, don't know if I will get anything planted this year. Regarding mental health in 2018 every time I went to town if I complained about it being to wet I was scolded numerous times to never complain about rain in South Dakota. SMH!! Now I don't like to even go to town, after hearing everyone else complain I usually come home feeling worse than when I left.
