Hey guys. I've created a PP calculator. Now, obviously there are a TON of moving parts to go into this decision, but it is a decision that we are going to need to make soon. So, when times get tough, I make a spreadsheet, apparently. So, I thought maybe it might help someone else with the decision. Any questions, let me know. I think it's pretty self explanatory. Everything in bold will need to be changed to fit your operation. This is also making the assumption that you will be selling the rest of your unmarketed grain at the insurance harvest price, minus your basis. There is also the dilemma of figuring out what to do with your unfufilled contracts if you did do a complete PP situation. So, obviously there are limitations. Any questions, let me know!
