Subject: RE: Muddin poll

Personally i've never been in this situation before. I've always managed to get everything planted by the 3rd week of May (corn and beans). With 20% of my intended corn acres to go and not a bean in the the ground along with another 6 inches of rain forecasted over the next several days it will be sometime in second week of June before I can roll again. My thoughts are to plant corn until the 10th of June and beans til the 20th. Seeing how it rains about 24 hours before anything is fit to plant or mother nature throws me a bone and lets me mud stuff in for a day before she opens up and dumps again I may may be done planting for the year also. I'm to the point that every time I see an updated forecast I almost laugh out loud... East central Iowa just north of I 80
