Sounds like they will be paying slightly more this year based on the larger sum allocated. Just that it will be based upon total acres, not just Soybeans.

So - if a guy received $1.65 on Soybeans (only) last year, they might receive approximately $.93 this year on Soybeans this year ($.31 x 3) , but then pick-up another $.12 cents on corn ($.04 x 3). All paid in 1/3 tranches, each. I get the county by county part. I was told the amounts by a local in my county but cannot verify it.

Personally, I cannot see the government taking anything they said away. This is a political season.

Does this sound about right?
