You just set your A point and dont have to drive any distance to set a B point. You pick the direction/heading. I always pick 90, or 180 depending on if I am in an E/W field or N/S field. I have been told it is easier on the computer to run these lines. Plus if you ever have to come back later to do patch in's you just find the wheel tracks and set your A point again and you are all set to go.
