Jackson County, AL | Ditto. JCB is generally weak in at least one important area per machine from what I've seen and the price of parts you keep throwing at that will about break you. I worked at the local utilities and while I worked in the office I was around the JCB equipment and saw parts invoices. They liked their small 4-wheel steer backhoes and kept buying them as well as at least one mini-ex. Lots of electrical issues, some important, some didn't keep the machine from running, and a general poor quality is what I saw. Everything wore twice as fast with regard to pins and bushings and whatever engines and pumps they used seeped oil after a year or so. On state bid they would be a cheaper machine but parts were twice as high as Deere and New Holland. So they seem like a company with good ideas but poor execution. |
