Plant sorgum to cover pile so criters dont dig in top.

Been hiring chopping done. Guy uses a kemper style header.

This year may try to cut my own.

Have a 3 row head & a pickup head.

Plant with a jd 750 drill. Could plug holes for 30 inch rows.

Swather is a newholland hw 320 with a 1100 series header, 18 ft. Narrowest we can cut us about 14 ft. Any chance it would cut it. Last year it was higher than truck boxes.

Make any difference if in 30" rows vs 7.5" rows?

Silage wouldn't be so wet if it was cut ahead of chopping
