Subject: RE: Tyler-patriot sprayer

SPX3200B has an entirely different suspension than an XL, WT or 3185. It has the cast iron trailing arm type still used in the same basic form on the newer 3000 and 4000 series sprayers. The others have a fabricated steel strut system. About the only struts still available from CaseIH are the ones that fit the WT and 3185, both short and tall versions.
The Deutz engine in the 150 was a reliable engine but when there did happen to be a problem, most Deutz dealers either knew very little about it or weren't interested. It's mounting also necessitated moving the oil cooler to a position that was nearly impossible to clean. All hub parts are available for WT's and 3185 (#8 Auburn). Many are still available for 150 and late XL's (#7 Auburn). Very few available for old XL's with original hubs (#6Auburn).
