The blue port only accepts the video input (yellow wire). So you still need to find a way to get sound there. If you decide not to upgrade your Roku, you would need to find an RCA to HDMI adapter. There may be other options depending on the inputs your tv has (not sure if that is a usb port just below the vga port).
