I think a hog could eat after death. I have one friend that certainly could.
No ASF:
Take one 50lb pig, feed it 10 bushel of corn, get one 270lb LIVE fat
ASF:
Take two 50lb pigs, feed them 15 bushels of corn, one dies at 150lb, get one 270lb live fat.
Just my opinion. Ha. Flame away.
With out ASF you would be taking 2 pigs to fat. 20 bushels.
