Reread your post and you NAILED it! The facts are market structure. Higher highs and higher lows... or lowers lows and lower highs... a trend. Then when that trend is broken... AFTER the fact... then you draw the median lines. They are targets for an exit.
Identifying a change in trend and getting an entry with limited risk has always been the hardest piece of the marketing puzzle.
If a person can do that he can make any charting tool successful
