East Central South Dakota | That area has been dry for the last two years and I know they have been going there more than anywhere else in the state. West of Aberdeen to the river has gotten some things done. I did the food plot thing for 15 years and in springs like this sometimes you have to pick new locations---like out on sod, not kidding it works good. All the cover packs in with snow and the standing cover stops the wind and sun from drying things out. Planted hard the last 3 days and we had to leave next to fence lines, trees and anywhere big snow banks sat---can't believe how noticeable it was. |
