southern MN | The knifed hog manure left it really rough, think I need to level it. This was planted a year ago, oats and cover crop all at the same time in spring, swathed and combined the oats, baled the straw, neighbor knifed in manure, clover alfalfa mix came back from the spring seeding with the oats.
Nothing about my planter is set up for notill, as with 90% of the planters around here....... Ground works up nice, but is very hard from winter. I’d need more downforce and so on.
Rain split and went around us, looks like we got a tenth over night.
