Subject: RE: agleader 2 channel downforce setup help

Morris, IL
I have older 7200 so steel frames not cast like newer JD and on row boxes. I run between 0-40 90% of time almost never want uplift tho. I do same adjust air springs to get 100lb or so on gauge wheels. I find depth can be little off if don’t keep it around 100. 309 is a lot tho in this little wheels.

Soils are different we strip till most of time find it softer then field cultivated. Probably because cultivator only runs few inches deep otherwise it brings up wet lumps. Which creates smear layer to get planter through which is why we strip till as much as we can. I have ran 40-60psi or more in tilled dirt quite often.
