Nevada, Iowa | I read this page a lot, never feel like I have much to contribute, just random thoughts. First random on this thread - remember the fervor generated around the tax reform and the strategies many were anticipating regarding selling grain through a co-op etc.? Enough said about anticipating the government policies. Second thought - having lived through the grain reserve era and watching prices creep higher like paint drying only to have the gov't. release grain into the open market and watch the price tumble down 10x quicker than it went up - it's really hard for me to imagine the gov't doing anything consciously to increase the price of grains. Having said all that - he loves his patriot farmers, I'm sure we are going to feel the love shortly. | |
