Texas | I used to carry a 380 but don’t anymore. Not enough power. Sure it is better than nothing but heaven forbid I need to use it I want it to do the job. There are many nines on the market now that are small and the caliber is so much better.
I am not a fan of boot holsters. There are lots of scenarios where you just couldn’t get to it quick enough. Here in Texas you can open carry as well as concealed. I never intentionally open carry I think it is dumb and gives up any element of surprise but I am glad it is legal because it allows me to carry a full sized gun concealed and not worry if it prints or accidentally shows.
I did a lot of work down near the border as in less then five miles from it with lots of illegal activity in the area and I carried a Sig 226 and two spare mags every day. | |
