Get one of those outdoor wood stoves......and heat your house and create domestic hot water. When it is burnt hot with full draft it burns clean. And if you also heat with wood, net wrap and plastic wrap work good to get the big chunks of wood going.
Like Ben Franklin used to say, "A BTU burned is a BTU saved".
