Our main concern with plumbing into lift circuit is heat caused when the compressor is not running for extended periods but remote is in detent with no where for oil to go. This isn’t an issue?

I always wondered the same thing, but that's how we had ours plumbed for several years. In corn, the compressor would come on fairly often. In beans, it rarely came on and that got me to thinking the way you are. However, I never got the oil too hot.

While I don't have airforce anymore, I'd still be interested to hear others take on the oil heating. If it's on an SCV, it would keep the pump operating all the time. If you have a vac or hydraulic drives, it would be anyway. If you put it on power beyond, you'd either need a load sense line or rely on vac, or something else, to stroke the pump.
