I'd keep it and put the screen etc back in it for the winter, keep it warm and clean and safer than in a tractor somewhere.
I know a lot of them get left out in the cold, but somewhere there was a thread on here and a link to Mother Deere's website that says they should not be left in the extreme cold in the winter.
