Subject: RE: Tanker explosion

Kingston,Mi
Google "Texas City Explosion", the largest explosion after the 2 nuclear bombs in Japan. That cargo of dry ammonium nitrate exploded after being heated unnoticed for at least a day (discarded cigarette ignited other material in the hold is the suggested reason). Nearly a 1000 dead, all but 1 of the fire dept. fire fighters where killed instantly, one anchor was discovered several miles away. A second ship with ammonium nitrate caught fire and blew up the next day.

After Oklahoma City, I ask the manager of the local Terra plant about the availability and he said Michigan had not recently sold any. Some of McViegh's and Nichols sympathizers came to my office looking for a information sheet that explained how to mix anfo for digging ponds. After all they were just good old boys , meant no harm to anyone, must have been a mistaken id.
